musicbox
Hello. Device "XvoStick mod based on DNA60" purchased new. At first everything worked fine. After connecting to escribe, and updates incorrectly determines the resistance: After replacing the battery Board is not immediately determines the resistance; after the transition Board in the Regis "sleep" and pressing the "fire" right away does not determine the resistance. Check atomizer and battery in parallel was carried out on 133 Think Vape Finder, it all works fine. A further update, checked all connections and rations. The problem is not resolved. What else can you do? You can send the "factory" firmware, for updating the Board? If you send in, and after updates, will not work properly what to do next? Wayneo
Is this the same device with issues from a month ago, or a replacement? I notice from the mfgr site: "If the problem is reported within 3 months after delivery, we will repair or replace your item free of charge within a reasonable period of time. For electronical mods, there is 1 year warranty provided for chips, and 6 months warranty for mechanical parts." Are you getting the "check atomizer" displayed? What value do you get for resistance on each mod?
musicbox
Hello. No, it's another mod. The display shows "check atomizer" long enough, then determines the correct resistance. (compared with others on dna mod finder 133; finder 75). And then the mod works, you can remove the atomizer, put back, everything is OK. But if you remove the battery, everything is repeated again. Wayneo
That sounds normal to me, maybe I'm missing what part of what you describe is different between the Finder's and this? The resistance value is the current resistance measured value once fired, and with a TC coil the normalized/computed value at 70F. Edit: Once the battery is removed, unless plugged in beforehand, the process restarts Edited May 13, 2017 by Wayneo Additional info
musicbox
Hello. It does not measure resistance when the button is pressed, "fire" (can't a video file to attach, more than 10MB), and of course does not supply power to the atomizer. And it is not only battery change, ie: You've used the mod, then put the mod on for example 20 to 40 minutes, the mod went to sleep, you want to use immediately - and he again doesn't see the resistance. - this is the main problem. Other dna mod, this is not a problem. They give power to the atomizer when you press "fire", even before the screen lights up, i.e. instantly. Spector NS5 RD
to me, this sounds like an intermittent connection somewhere between the board and (including) the 510 itself. @musicbox, when you install an atomizer on DNA 60, and open EScribe's Atomizer Analyzer, is the "RAW OHMS" reading somewhat stable? a small fluctuation of 0.001 - 0.002 ohms is normal. big variances in raw ohms means a poor connection somewhere. if the wiring looks OK from board to 510, it could be where the 510 base screws into body. (i am looking at my DNA 40 Xvostick and remembered i had to disassemble and clean the entire 510 once because of high resistance readings.) basically, "check atomizer" means the board is NOT seeing the atomizer, you have to hunt down the problem. i can point you in the right direction but the rest is up to you. let us know what you find, good luck!
