Help Board comes on when usb plugged but still won't fire.

ok hav one mod that when delivered today after he used it a few min, it quit. Nothing happens when you press buttons but will come on when plugged in to usb. Pressing fire button when plugged in the screen dims and starts saying ohms too high. Says like 2.6watts. It was running a hybrid k1 core ni200 Clapton coil that I have run for at least a day on that mod. Not sure what's going on any ideas?

I'm having the same problem on my opus.. Just updated last night, now having the same issue as you.. Thinking the fuse is blown?? Waiting to hear back from someone from evolv now...

The fuse on mine looks ok. And ohms out good. So that is not the issue for me. I wanted to wait and see if I got a response on here but will start in the morning trying to get in touch with evolve and try to see what it is.

Try checking your ground and 510 connections and battery connections. .....look at all the resistors around the balance port

What voltages do you see on your battery cells in Device Monitor?

The cells all show 4.01 v I have replaced the board and that mod has been working flawless for five days now, so I don't think it was case related. Couldn't see anything in the case or on the board that indicated a problem. Same battery still in the mod.

USB only power on has, in my experience (can't speak for Evolv), been no battery seen or improper battery seen.  I lost one cell and the device would only come on with USB power.

Although I have had one bad battery( different mod) the board in question was replaced and been working fine with the same battery. I will be contacting supplier in the morning as I have another board that seams to be DOA.
