I have a problem updating my device firmware

I'm trying to update my dna 200 board and It crashes before it even starts.  This is what happens, I press the update firmware button and it says please wait, on the loading bar.  Then it says "please wait (not responding).  Then I get a Microsoft .net framework box that says... Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit, the application will close immediately... 

So after this if I press quit, escribe quits.  If I press continue escribe stays open but the firmware doesn't reload onto the board.  The board is crashed and doesn't work (it still displays info on screen but I cant fire it)  At this point I have to restart the board to be able to use it.  This is what the details tab of the .net framework says...
