p8ntballa9362 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Report Posted October 1, 2015 well ive got it hooked up to a 2 amp smart charger and its gone up to 99. but is that as far as it will go? ive seen the option to maximize charge cycles and the option to maximize puffs. does this have anything to do with it?
VapingBad Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 Max charge cycles will charge to 4.1 V per cell probably doubling the life of your batteryMax puff will charge to 4.2 V per cell using the full capacity of your batteryI mainly use max charge cycles and it has be great, but I don't display the %. I wouldn't worry about 1 % if the cells are all showing as 4.2 V in device monitor, you could probably get rid of it by reducing the battery Wh a little or if it's new it may take a few cycles to catch up.
p8ntballa9362 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Report Posted October 1, 2015 Sweet you're the man.... So how many extra puffs would you get from that selection. I'd imagine if it's all charged to 4.2 it wouldn't be that much. So Mac cycles far outweighs the Max puffs?
VapingBad Posted October 1, 2015 Report Posted October 1, 2015 I don't think it is much, there is a thread where I requested to be able to set the charge voltage somewhere here that has some more detail.ETAhttps://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/66189-topic/About 80% capacity for double the battery lifeBatt Uni says 86% http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries
