liv3wired
Every time when my device goes to sleep (like maybe 30 minutes) and I hit the fire button it comes back on like first powering up displaying splash screens and asking me if new coil or not. Is this normal or is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? Also battery has never reached 100% only 98% even after 24 hour charging? Running Fullymaxx 900mah.Other than those 2 things the device works flawlessly. Hardest hitting mod I have! Love it
VapingBad
The asking new coil is not usual have you changed the "ohm lock range" the default is 25% or it could be an inconsistent 510 or atty connection. The 2% battery is nothing to worry about, probably only one puff, the Wh should be set to 10, but you could try 9.8 to see if that cures it. liv3wired
No I have not changed the ohm lock range it's still set at default. If it was issues with the 510 would I not have issues under normal use?As for the battery thanx for the info I can deal with it.
VapingBad
It could be the 510/atty, metal expands and contracts as it heat and cools and it could be causing a small change on resistance. Give the 510 a good clean both on the atty and mod and check the coil screws are snug.
liv3wired
I use Kanger Subtanks so I'll try switching through them and see if it does it on all tanks.Thank you for your help!
VapingBad
The pre-built heads could cause that as the connection is held by the silicone insulator.
liv3wired
Ok I'll keep that in mind. I do have a Dark Horse RDA I could test with. Also I went into Escribe and did a master reset to default settings. Gonna leave them at that for testing. The battery was at 98% before I did this and after it was at 90% and charging. megaton
my mod was doing that charging thing too- only showing 99 or 98% or so on a full charge. i updated the firmware and changed the battery discharge curve (see link) and now it shows 100% on a full charge:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxIHq0ODzAiiR2hranBSMmFvWDg/view?usp=sharing
liv3wired
Thank you Megaton/VapingBad. I think I must have played with the curves at one time. After I did a reset to default on the device battery is charging full and the wake/sleep mode isn't acting up.
Guest
On the subtank the bottom part of the 510 isnt the bottom of the coil its a seperate insert and it only just about reaches, the base of the rda deck or coil center pin. mine would loose contact at the slightest knock. it also gets wet, you can pop it out and put a blob of solder on the one end, to give it better reach, then push it back in, then when you screw the new coil or rda deck back in it will make better contact and any exess will just protrude out the bottom of the 510 male end and should get took up by the spring loaded center pin or file it a bit if the atty dont sit flush..
