speed4mee
Did you use USB 3.0?I'm using an external USB Charger with 1A. To see if it's loading change Screen - Charging Field 1 to USB Current. And don't forget to set the Charging Brightness to 80 % (default is 0). speed4mee
Is there a lighning in the battery symbol? If not then try another USB cable On your screen USB Power is shown as 0.013W, that isn't normal
speed4mee
Then your USB Voltage is faulty. You can connect to EScribe so your USB Data Line is ok.
VapingBad
It's not set to power supply battery type is it, that would explain it. A long shot, but worth checking. You could also try a different fw version, even re-flashing the current one.
speed4mee
@vmax100ukDid you Change Mod - Battery - Capacity to your specified Wh? Use the Watt-Hour Calculator
John
If you have a multimeter see if the tap connector on the battery was installed backwards when they built the pack. That would cause problems for sure.
megahtron
after getting another board, getting everything soldered up by a friend who actually knows what hes doing my board was working. Hooked an atty up to the 510 and it fired and i was extremely happy to say the least after my issues before. Charged it up some to make sure it was taking a charge, I put it up to wait for my box to arrive.. box came today so i took everything out to get it ready and hooked it up to DM to make sure and now its not taking a charge at all.. i changed the charging screen to see if it was coming up at all and it does but the pack is losing voltage as its supposed to be charging. Frustrating to say the least after everything thats happened (99.9% my fault but still lol) started at 44% now its at 28% with no firing

John
Can you post a pic of what's going on under the screen? You clearly have USB data and voltage, and the charge current sensor is reporting something, so it isn't a problem with the USB port. Your cells are reading right, so it has to be something related to the actual charge circuitry. Which is under where the screen lives.

John
I sure don't see anything that would prevent charging. If you have the battery and the taps disconnected and plug into USB, does the screen come on at full brightness? That also uses the charger circuit to do. If your charger isn't working in that situation the screen will be extremely dim.
megahtron
its not quite full brightness, but its nowhere near dim

VapingBad
vmax100uk said:Well i was blaming it on the battery i used but im now thinking that there is more to this if you had this board working fine before with the same battery. Your board is on it way back isn't maybe PM John with the RMA number and a link to this thread.
