I have the exact same thing happening. But when I connect the device to escribe the temperature stops going up or down when I fire it. MMMH don't know what that is...

bad coil & or related connections, also make sure your putting enough power through in the first second of fireing to trigger the temp, somting like 100degres plus

I am reading this and only been using my DNA 200 for a few months WHY are we talking about a .3 coil titanium and trying to fire it in standard mode in the first place I got the fact you would like the 4.2 volts vapor at .3 but try to let the board do its job build a .0 8 spaced coils set it for temp control and get a better safer experience . I am confused correct me if I am wrong but the DNA 200 will detect the material / ohms change as a safety .then i get the exact same vape ever time .that's why I enjoy my DNA 200 so much it's wonderful 26 GA TI dual coil 2.5 center. 08 ohms 36 watts 90 punch 475 degrees Fahrenheit it is vapor wise every bit as good as my dual 18650 mec mod at .3 kanthal and better flavor every time
