relink2013
About 3 or so months ago I endeavored to build my own DNA200 box mod. I am incredibly happy with it so far except my battery causes the side to have a gap, because its just slightly too big, the problem is exacerbated in this insanely humid Florida heat. SO the space I have to work with is;34.38mm wide MAX~66mm tall, could have a tiny bit of play but not much (the wires and balance connector have to go somewhere and above the battery is where they landed)19.93mm deep MAX Im trying to stay as close to 1300mah as i can or more. My current battery claims 1350 but actually ended up being 1228. I have been searching for 2 weeks to find the best battery and im coming up blank. relink2013
I could get away with 20mm so long as the battery is actually 20mm and not 21 or 20.8 or 20.9 or anything like that. That is actually part of my frustration, I have ordered a battery claiming to be 20mm and it ended up being bigger than the battery i already have. retird
How about posting a picture of the inside of your device.... can you position the connectors differently? This one may fit if you move the connectors?http://www.protovapor.com/product/fullymax-11-1v-3s-900mah-30c-lithium-polymer-battery-pack/
relink2013
Here is what im working with. I though I would go ahead and explain now that all of the major electrical connections are done correctly. The Tape you see goes to the LED that I put under the 510 cennection, and the hot glue just provides a mount for the on/off switch for the LED.I couldnt imagine Id really be able to get the connectors to fit anywhere else. The main connector is off to the left, and the balance connector is at the top.
relink2013
Anyone? if I cant find a battery that fits properly, then my only other option is to completely disassemble the entire box, throw it back on the milling machine and take down the side walls of the box, which will be a huge pita, especially considering my milling machine is not that great and loves to leave chatter marks, and uneven cuts. baustinmcmanus
Maxamps.com They custom make batteries to order so you know they are fresh. They have a list of batteries according to mah. Select what you think will work, select the 3S option, and check the dimensions all right there on the site. I order all my batteries for my custom mods there. It is also nice because you can select a connector that they will attach to the battery for you.
