fiddynut
Hey guys. So I built my dna200 into a 3d printed box. It has alway ran great except for my screen was kind of flaky. I checked the connection that was not it. So I decided to see if the firmware needed updating. I downloaded escribe made sure my mod was idle and plugged it in. The screen was on when I plugged it in. It prompted me to update the firmware. I selected OK and the screen on the mod went out and escribe said no device found. I have tried everything I can think of. I disconnected the battery to see if it would run off USB power and nothing. So I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. fiddynut
Oh and this is one of three mods I build using all the same parts and mine is the only one with issues. All have hooked up to escribe with no problems.
VapingBad
Sounds like the fw update failed, don't worry that will not brick it, just go to Tools - Update firmware and manually update.(If you are on a Mac see the Mac thread in the sw section)
fiddynut
I did what you said and got it to come up on USB power. Hooked my battery up and back to nothing but able to make connection. Fired up the device monitor and some how my cell 1 of my battery is 0.00 and cell 2 is 2.7. So some how my battery crapped the bed. It had been working great up till I plugged it in. Looks like I'll order another battery. Thanks for your help VapingBad
dwcraig1
I'd be checking that battery with a meter to see if the cells add up to what the pack voltage is. Just commenting.

VapingBad
Try forcing a firmware update: EScribe - Tools - Apply Service Pack.
