Battery issue

When I go to charge my battery it keeps telling me to check battery and it will not take a charge does that mean my battery has gone bad?

you havnt put a great deal of info in the question,
can you get it up on escribe and read off the battery cell values from device monitor, or take a snapshot and post it up.

Okay here's a picture of it plugged in and there's also a picture of it when I am trying to push the button that would usually produce smoke from your name and it tells me to check battery

Do those pictures help explain what's wrong with this enough do you think it's just the battery?

honestly a screenshot of device monitor would help and prove whether you need to replace the lipo. if you have DMM you can check the individual cell voltages, that is another sure way to tell if the cells are unbalanced.

Op, you could take it to a vape shop and see if they have a battery knocking about just to see if you get any changes in responce, other than that, a computer and the escribe program would be adventageouse, did you get the device secondhand, because a user can program it to say anything, not that they would have reason to,,, check battery sounds pretty clear to me..
