Can the max charge V be set?

Will we be able to set this to 4.1 V to increase battery life time?

If not I would suggest it be considered for the future.

It isn't in the software right now, but this isn't a bad idea. I'll see if we can put it on the to do list.

Cheers John, I know for 18650 this will double their life and have read the it will quadruple the life of a lipo.


Nice work btw, only got 2 DNA30s and 2 DNA40s ATM, I built all of them, 3 with hand built boxes (75x38x22mm with an 18650) and am really looking forward to getting my hands on the 200.

It does, though at a cost of only about 80% capacity per charge. In a mobile application like this, I didn't think anyone really wanted to make that trade-off. But giving people the ability to make their own choices is really what the 200 is about, so why not.

Apparently the entry in the FAQ is misleading as it does not state it is about charge per cell some people are under the impression that a FW update will allow the board to run from a single 18650.

That's great. I want to go the other direction. I'll gladly sacrifice pack longevity if I can get a few puffs per charge cycle. In short, I want to be able set max charge at 4.35 for LiHV packs.
