Hi

just got into vaping the last 3 months.

I could not find exactly an answer to my question on the forums... hope i'm not repeating.

I have been using TC mode on my micro and spaced SS316L coils, been going like a treat.

I have now ventured out and bought some clapton, Juggernaut, Alien and Tiger coils. All are made with SS316L.

I prefer to only vape in TC mode.

Question is, will i need to change the materials in eScribe with a custom? Theoretically they should still work with the SS316L material selected???

If i do need to get custom, any recommendations? I looked at steam engine but got a bit dizzy.

thanks again for your help!

TC is 'material' specific. Not coil, diameter, wire gauge, or anything else. If it's 316L and that's one of your materials ...... you're fine.

You might need to change your profile settings due to the larger surface mass (more power needed) to heat those puppies up.

As long as the other wire (s) is SS316 or Kanthal/Nichrome you should be fine using the same setting. But If you have say two strands of SS316 wrapped with another TC wire (eg. Ti) then a different CSV is needed.

@dwcraig1 - totally off topic, but is that your 'peanut brittle' I've been vaping?

It's almost time to make another 500 ml bottle, That will be the 9th one. Old Habits die hard.
