Vapourshark DNA 200 No charge and failed recovery

Hi all

 

New to the group. I have a Vapourshark DNA 200. I have an issue where it wont hold charge and it wont recovery charge in Escribe. 

Battery fault or board?

Any help would be great

Sounds like a dead battery, what are the cell voltages?

Cell 1 - 2.10v

Cell 2 - 1.53v

Cell 3 - 1.32v

on recovery charge its theyre fluctuating around 3.43v but not going any higher

at 3.43v the regular charging cycle should take over, as long as the cells are somewhat balanced. if not, VS does sell the Fullymax 900mah lipo with all of the necessary connectors already installed. however, if you're still withing the 120 day warranty, i would send it to them and spend nothing.

if i was to swap out the fullymax could i run any other battery as long as i terminated the leads with the correct connector... Has anyone upgraded the battery in these

upgrade, as in bigger? not a chance, VS designed the mod to barely fit the Fullymax 900. the replacement would have to be the exact measurements of the Fullymax one.

found one although 50mah capacity really an upgrade lol suppose i cant moan for $24
