Mod won't turn on, after sitting all day

Okay, after getting my mod going, and a new chip, it seems like something went south, again. Not sure why. It had about 87% charge, when I last used it. Now, it gives me check battery message, when on escribe. It simply won't turn on. Symptoms are somewhat different. Battery tray, or chip? Any guesses? I reopened my case with Warranty service. I'll see what they have to say.

This is the third mod I had go south on me, in the last few weeks. Two were old Hana V200's. Since they're both 2 years old, I guess that is to be expected.

what mod is this? One of the cells is reading 0 volts. Could be a sled/contact or broken solder joint/wire going to the Batt contacts. Does the mod vape if you select Power Supply in the mod tab of EScribe? Dont run it for too long in that mode, more so a test. If it does vape in PS mode, the board is bad or the balance tap wire isn't connected.

Hi, Thanks. It's an HCigar VT133. Yes, it will vape when I set it to power supply. And, it works when I unplug the usb. Is it alright to use it, this way? There was a warning not to use it on batteries, in this manner. Is this just a cover your own ass liability warning?

Another quick question: Since it will work with power supply selected, but won't power on when set to lipo, how is it getting power? Is it the daughter board that's the problem?

Via the main battery output  (B+ & B-)

Do you have a volt meter? I'm guessing that the voltage on the pair is actually greater than 4.88 volts. can you check that?

Yes, 5.11 volts, standing. Here's a screen shot with the mod firing. It drops to 4.96 volts, according to device monitor.
BTW, at first, the battery charge was reading at 63%. But, it would not charge. After a hard reset, that disappeared.

It appears to me as a typical situation where battery management on the board went south.

Thanks. I was hoping I could just resolder a wire to the daughter board. But, that would just be too easy.
