  1. Cording to the technical support help here at the help desk, the mod ( lost vape triade dna250c) should resample room temperature, 15 minutes after being left idol. I'm trying to see how many other people have this problem with this particular mod ( lost vape triade dna250c ).
  2. No, As I said in the first two line of my post. it's not resampling room temperature at all, after 20min. I can leave my mod sit for 8 hours, an the room temperature never resamples. Eg, Mod room temperature is fluctuating between 21.1c and 21.5c on the mod. I fire the mod, room temperature now no longer fluctuates on the mod and it is sitting at 21.4c,I leave the mod sit idle for 8 hours. room temperature is still not fluctuating on the mod and still sitting at 21.4c. Even though my ambient temperature is now changed from 21c to 30c When it is sampling room temperature it is very accurate, but to get it to ReSample room temperature as it should is my problem.
  3. I did open a ticket, we did some troubleshooting but long story short nothing worked. At the end the support agent asked me what I want to do. I was think I will send it away for a new one and see if the new one works. That was part of the reason why I put this up. if it's an issue that a lot of people are having ,then it might not be any point in trying to get a new one. As like you said it might be a software problem. but the support agent did say that he was unable to recreate the problem that I was having. But for me to end up with the only two vape's out of thousands that have this problem, from two different sellers. I must be really unlucky. but you're right short of doing a soft or hard reboot or taking the battery out and powering down, The only other way's to get it working is to leave it on charge or plugged into your computer for more than 15 minutes. I suspected it might be a software issue and not a hardware, but idk. I run case analyzer,. After leaving the mod sit overnight for over eight hours. Updated to the latest firmware, but nothing has changed. anyway thanks for taking your time to do this and your feedback.
  4. Ok so dose anyone here, who owns a lost vape triade dna 250c have a problem with it not re-sampling room temp after being left idle for 15 minutes or more. to test this Use a theme where it can view room temp, Do not plug it in to a computer or place it on charge! Fire the mod, and take note of the room temp. Leave the mod idle for 20min or more.( DO NOT TOUCH IT) After 20min check it the room temp is fluctuating. The reason I ask is because I have now purchased two lost vape triades dna250c 's from two different sellers and they have both had the same problem. and I just want to see if anyone else possibly has this problem. thanks for your time
  5. I have read plenty of posts on here regarding this issue some borads do it some boards do not. you must be unlucky jetro has seven different DNA devices and none of them do have this problem Type case analyse into the search bar you will find More examples, i wasn't going to search all day AGAIN just to show you so feel free to do it yourself most of these topics end with asked the helpdesk which I have already done. just thought someone might have an answer by now as to a fix and if it is normal why is the help staff at Evolv not just saying this is normal and of story!
  6. In the start of this video you can see he's mod not trying to charge and he gets a good reading mine is still trying to charge and not getting a good reading.
  7. I didn't state how long I left the test run for the first time. I let the test complete but the results were bad because of this trickle charge leak. The pictures above show the first five minutes of it heating up over 5° C in that time period when it should not be heating up at all I know this is not normal for it to leak charge when it should not be charging. I want to know how to fix the problem ? do I need to send it away?
  8. Lol, i'm pretty sure that the current coming from the three batteries (lg hg2 x3) in the mod is sufficient enough to run the components to do the test . The current we are seeing is it charging when it should not be charging, don't quote me on that I could be wrong. And yes it would be nice if someone who knew what they were talking about would join and Chime in on this! PS what would you know of what the help staff have told me besides what I've told you.
  9. Yeah well like I said if the respondent had of read it the ticket they would know and I was talking about case analyzer lol and the ticket subject/title name is (case analyzer, device still charging at 0.001- 0.003 amps) I guess I should've been more clear, this part of the test is trying to establish stable temperature at the very start of the case analyzer test. There should be in zero charge going through to the battery to a establish stable temperature reading and because of the small charge leakage going through it is heating up, more than 5° C within the first five minutes. which will throw the over all readings out. Like it said in the picture waiting for steady temperature, and again because of the small charge leaking through it is unable to do so because the temperature is rising. PS the charge leaking through at that point of the test (The start of the test) is not normal and should not be happening! yes the mod has been left to sit for a long period of time before doing this test and yes the battery has been discharged past 25% I guess I should change it to (case analyzer, device still charging at 0.001- 0.003 amps when it should not be CHARGING AT ALL and it is heating up the mod)
  10. Triade dna250c, case analyzer, device still charging at 0.001- 0.009 amps when i run case analyzer its showing my mod still charging at 0.001- 0.009amps.the battery is at 25% an left sitting for a few hours before running the test.i have tried a firmware update, soft and hard reboots, disabling usb charging. i have checked the battery profile, its ok.i have NEW (LG HG2 batteries)LINK to batteries https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0674/3651/files/lg-hg2-spec-sheet.pdfI have looked online for hours for a fix but no fix, just other people with the same problem. But there is no information on how they resolved the issue.can you please help me fix thisthanks I have lodged a ticket and so far there has been no help this is the reply I got. (Your battery needs to be fully charged before starting the test. Additionally, I would let the device sit for and hour or so before starting the test) I don't think anyone actually read my ticket!
