  1. I have several sets of batteries including LG HG2's and LG M26's. The M26's are recognised when I put them in the Paranormal DNA250C but the HG2's are not (will not power up). If I connect the mod to USB it comes back to life and disconnecting the USB it continues to function without issue using the HG2's. Any idea why?
  2. I've just changed the screen on my Paranormal. The replacement screen has a longer connector and is a right pain in the butt! I managed to squeeze it down but I noticed the little white plastic tab that poked out kinda fell off the old screen where it pokes out next to the firing button. No idea what it does so ignored it when putting it back together. Screen looks nice and clear. Not sure about the firing button. Seems a little less sensitive to use now but I won't be tearing it down again just yet. Protip: Don't rub your screen with your thumb too much like I did. It turned into a black monster in the middle of the screen. ;) They should have put a plastic protective shield over the exposed screen like on my Dovpo!
  3. I am just starting out on building my own coils. If I have a kanthal A1 core and wrap with SS326L will Replay still work? I was thinking of building a parallel 26Ga using kanthal wrapped in 32Ga SS316L.
  4. Ths solves coming out of deep sleep as long as you have autolock disabled. You get a lock screen to press the fire button 5 times (well 4 after the initial press). However if you have autolock enabled you have to press the fire button twice to come out of deep sleep. It then takes you directly to the main screen (no need to press fire button repeatedly). It's a lot better but still not working as intended. I already reported this to Brandon last week but have yet to have a response.
  5. Connect to a different USB port and open Escribe. Choose 'Restore default settings'. Go to the Tools menu and choose 'Diagnostics', 'Reboot device' then 'Hard reboot. Also under the 'Options' menu make sure 'Automatically check for service packs' is ticked.
  6. I'm not sure you should be discussing this openly. But in any case. You need to hard boot the mod and then reflash with the latest firmware. The press up error will then not show after the first flash (I am guessing you got that after the initial flash). Then hard reboot again. Coming out of deep sleep it requires 'two' key presses. I have already notified Brandon of this. Patience my friend. I am sure they are working hard on resolving it. The fact that I can wake it without much fuss at the moment is promising. I can live with a two button press to wake it if all else fails. To anyone else reading this. Please do not ask for the beta firmware. It's being tested and we are in conversation with Evolv to try and resolve this. If a mod deems it neccessary to delete either of these posts feel free. But the cat is already out of the bag for those reading these posts
  7. Ah. OK. Wait for new firmware it will definitely fix it.
  8. Did you apply any themes or profiles from Escribe?
  9. In that case we will just have to sit tight and wait for an official answer.
  10. No not Nick. I cannot comment further other than to say Evolv are aware and working on it.
  11. I can say with my hand on heart that it is a firmware issue. I am not at liberty to say why, but trust me on this (read into this as you will).
  12. 'We are currently working on a firmware fix for this and expect it to be out soon. Thanks, Nick Coutris Evolv, Inc'
