That's a great idea with the foil !! Solder coming Monday - I'll let you know how it goes !! And post Good or Bad -
Yeah I got a KSGER solder station and ordered some low melting solder.. And as you say cant get worse I done a bit of soldering over the years, but never any ribbons.. But as you say low melt solder and less not more and I should get it done .. Plus I seen a link earlier , that someone else had same prob - he placed ribbon and hot glued a piece plastic over top.. So gives me a couple options.. Like I said before, nice one for offer - and I'll post a pic here what ever way it goes !! Good or bad - lol Happy New Year !!

That would be amazing, im in uk wales.. if you can do that and shipping not to much, I'd be happy to pay for it.. my postcode is NP203LL I was even thinking maybe I could put ribbon in place and then hot glue a small piece of plastic over it to hold it there, it's a bit awkward, but it's either that, or buy new board ? But many thanks for the offer, thats really nice of you..

Yeah that pic is of a working board, mine had the plastic clip missing in middle - so there is nothing to clamp ribbon down..

Hi guys after waiting for a replacement screen for a DNA 75 C board, I messed up and the ribbon clamp was broke and now no way to clamp ribbon in place. I was hoping to purchase one from somewhere and solder it to board myself.. Does anyone know what part model is and where to purchase.. any help very welcome.. Hi Guys/Girls.. One of my DNA 75c mods needed a new screen, but the ribbon mounting point latch was broken in process (that's the little flip over plastic part that holds ribbon in place). I was wondering, can I replace the whole pin connector (seen one that I ( think will do the job on Aliexpress ) Or can I solder the ribbon direct to contact points. Think it's possible, but just looking to see if anyone got any advise first.. Many thanks

I'm new to the DNA scene,due to not being much of a Temp Control fan over my 4 year vape journey.. But I got the GTRS VBOY 200 with the YiHi sx500 on pre release last october and ever since - got into Temp control,and then had to get a DNA, knowing how good a board they make.. So I got a Hcigar 75D,due to dual battery and 75c board and it's great small form factor. Anyway enough of me, I'm here to say how much I'm enjoying your theme and to thank you! As being a new to the theme scene - I can only go by what others I've tried and how I found it to use etc = very easy to find my way around it and it gave me a simple yet well detailed info on everything I wanted to know! I look forward to following your thread and getting into this amazing community .. A really well made and looking theme.
