  1. I'll check that out. Not having issues with theme was just wondering if the batch of pics that are shown with a theme are what will already be included or would I have to add them myself but I get what you're saying, thank you.
  2. Thanks, do I use the eScribe to save a copy of the original .ecig file settings? If so how?
  3. Hey everyone, 1) First question, when I hook up to computer is the mod going to go into charge mode automatically? Can anyone tell me about use of eScribe for my DNA75C please? I would like to use one of the other themes, I've got the eScribe software and the theme, I'm only using it in Kanthal wattage mode. I have the manual but need to know - 2) Is there anything I have to do to the mod before I upload the theme to the mod or will theme override/replace old one? 3) Do I have to adjust the new theme profile settings while it's hooked to the computer or disconnect and adjust them once the new theme is on the mod? 4) Is the theme already complete so I don't have to select all options that are shown in the Theme Tab list in the manual? Thank you!
  4. Just for what it's worth, I tracked down the battery that is on the HCigar website from their pic, it's a Movfo 26650 3.7 V 4200 MAH 40A Battery INR 26650 and on FastTech website it says it's 65mm length. So I'm guessing if any battery is even a little over that, and the ijoy's are 65.74mm, and assuming that the measurements are accurate, the ijoy's I got off of ebay listing, it would be interesting to know if anyone who's still using a 26650 with NO problems could tell us the brand and length of the battery. I agree we shouldn't have to go thru this at all but there are so many size differences in the 26650's and even the 18650's that HCigar should be telling us what those specs are, other than that you all could be right that they should've tested for this, but short of making the space where the battery goes so that it only fits a correct one or they did a lousy job putting it together, we have to be careful. I'm wondering about the ones in my headlamp, not same kind, that rest behind my head lol, people are out there putting these in all sorts of things just to get more power out of their flashlights etc. But for my headlamp I just ordered button top18650's thinking it's just a different type of battery but is standard sized like we all grew up with. I'm just sticking with using the 18650's for my HCigar VT75 Color.
  5. Ok, thank you, was just wondering. I was using the Vaporesso Target prior to this and it did the same thing with the ohms reading always about 1 off too. So I'll just keep using the 18650's, no problems with heat or anything else, had it about 3 weeks now but I have gotten it to change to 0.9 ohms if in wattage mode if I'm right about that, it's showing the temp and that's with me adjusting it from one of the preset profiles #8 and I'm using the Kanthal ccell coils and tank from the Vaporesso w the HCigar.
  6. Is anyone using the new batteries with the PCB Protected Board built into the battery?
  7. Can you please tell us the brand you're using and the length or height of battery? After doing some searching there is a lot of size difference not just in the 26650's but the 18650's as well, with vaper's leaving reviews that this or that battery was too short or long for their mods. It seems to me that the mod manufacturers need to specify battery brand and or sizes, mAh, volts, amps to use with their products, because there's too many variables to choose from. Anyway, if you could tell me I'd appreciate it for my research, I've got 2 flat top 26650's I have to send back because they're 65mm plus 1mm for the contact pin, bought 'em before I found this out, better than trial and error at least. Thank you!
  8. Maybe HCigar tested it with shorter 26650's and so didn't know there were any problems until now. Other than longer time between battery changes, why the need for the 26650's at all? That's a serious question I'd appreciate an answer to, please. I'm not after higher temps don't make my own builds so I'm curious.
  9. Hey James, I was finally able to get the software using the international version on an iMac OS X using 10.10.5 Yosemite and need to know how do I go about using it for the VT75C, are there any instructions on this forum so I don't have to take any of your time up? Last question is, if for some reason it doesn't work out can I go back to the original? Sorry for needing any assistance. Thank you!
  10. I received a reply from Evolv recommending using only the 18650's and do not use any 26650 batteries at all. Glad I read this since I've got 2 of these 26650's on the way to me so will be returning them. A seriously major problem here for HCigar and anyone who doesn't know about this issue so spread the word please. I've only been using mine with the 18650's with no issues, doesn't get hot at all and I vape all day. I'm really happy with this mod, I've got it in blue and most online pics don't do it justice, the blue is really a nice deep blue with gloss like a car has, using an old Vaporesso Target tank in wattage mode but will be trying a Sense Blazer 200 soon so I haven't tried the online software yet, a lot of serious vapers recommend it. I'd still say buy this especially if you aren't into temp mode or don't need to make clouds, my e-liquid is 70/30 and the mtl is great with plenty enough vapor and flavor. At least some good can come out of this and that's a really good example of just how careful we need to be using Li ion batteries in any device. I think manufacturers need to start telling us exactly which size batteries with voltage and mah and A listed in the instruction manuals and online. I also think the device software should have atomizer coil type, temperature and battery recognition built into it especially since they are making mods that use up to 3 batteries now that reach ridiculously high temps. Seriously folks, how huge do you need your vapor clouds to be and why, what's next, battery banks you wear on your waist wired to the mod? For me it was all about quitting cigarettes, e-cigs allowed me to just stop cigs and start vaping same day, never went back. So stay safe and keep on vapin'. Thank you HCigar for such a fine mod!
  11. Hi James, will this work for the HCIGAR VT75 COLOR 26650 DNA 75C BOX MOD on a Mac OS X Yosemite? Thank you! Dan
