I'm waiting impatiently to try this. The 75C and 250C have very similar firmware. I believe once the 250C is out there and hasn't got any major issues we will see a 75C version. Would love a beta version to try out asap :D

Same here, an early firmware release on the 75C could feasibly iron out any issues faster than on the 250C, based on there being so many 75C units out there - but what do I know?! :citrus:

  2. I tend to agree with the notion that it could be theme related. I've designed a fair few themes that have produced lag due to image loading issues, so its reasonable to surmise that buggy themes could negatively effect battery life.

24,000 puffs on one of my 75C's and no draining other than from just normal use, that on some tired LG's. Funnily enough, just retired those today with new VTC6's, so will keep an eye on them.

  3. @James For my needs its perfectly acceptable - I'm not a huge power user (under 30W usually) so its a smooth curve. I'd be interested to see what big hitters think, that why I was leaning towards setting a power figure rather than a specific percentage increase. But as you pointed out this is more user friendly way of getting continuous albeit short boosts, so thanks for that James! In addition If 7-8 is good for the Brandon-meister  I'll stick with it

  4. @Dragonlore I don't know the tech specs on the Boost Punch but it applies a modest "boost" (no pun intended) based on the actual power setting. I haven't really looked into it or done the maths, but a quick test revealed at 25.8W and a boost of 7, provided 31.1W (for a brief moment) and a last power reading of 27W off a 4.8s puff / 0.5Ω Kanthal single coil.

Personally I don't mind the new way, but would prefer the option to have both ie boost time/power (it also meant I had to change all my themes... again!).

    I'm using a custom made c&c mto.

It's basically draining about 1 % per firing.

Hopefully a mod maker on here will be able to help, not had a drain issue on my LV Therion, whereas my regular Hcigar VT75 chews through batteries at under 30W.
