Something else I started using more was contact coils instead of spaced out coils. I noticed every once and a while I would get a random hot spot in spaced out coils(causing that burnt crap hit) since I've went to contact coils haven't had that yet.(knock on wood)

Lol... That's about what I was thinking... It would cool to have but yhea that's not something you would want to really carry around all the time. But at same time you know how collecting Vape stuff goes and how collecting starwars stuff can be for some...just kinda a thought

So was @ work when a friend said I need a lightsaber vaporizer... Thought to myself "hmmm.. That's totally doable." Considering if u made it close to a 1:1 scale model it would be huge and give you plenty of room to work with. So now I've been pondering over this DNA200 lightsaber idea. Darthvaders saber seems like obvious go to however the top might get in the way of actually vaping. So I'm curious what lightsaber would everyone like to see? Thoughts? Comments? Ideas? Thanks guys/gals

Lol... The velocity is the shiz nit... I bought a mini Stro V2... Once I changed out there crap Phillips screws to hex its really good but easy to flood. Worth checking out if the itch is calling for something a little different. Machining could be better on it. But $50 for an authentic not bad. The stock screws need changed out or else don't bother.

So a dual setup definitely doable... A quad well idk that might be to low

I tried a TI/NI Clapton... But my temp control has a case of the dumb dumb I think when tried it. And I didn't have csv loaded exactly right for build just tried with TI setting... U can get it to work. It hit way the crap to fast and hard... If I played with it more I think it would work good. Was impatient and through quad TI back in. It's my go to LOVE in the velocity so much airflow and vapor production with great flavor.

My biggest issue with temp control has been the 510ground... Anytime my Opus goes bonkers I open it up mess with the 510 then it starts working normal again. Looks like the solder is fine thought about sanding a small spot in paint between groung wirehooks to 510 and squeezes to case might help make a better ground connection. Idk though. Lol

I run a quad TI build for TC it reads in @ 0.05 I've tried others and always go back to the the quad TI. I use sweetspot vapes TI wire the .5 stuff. Sweetspot Vapes TI rocks... Haven't touched any of my lightningvapes NI wire in weeks.

Changing lipos is just as easy as any other battery. my 10yr old has changed out his own RC batteries for past 3yrs just fine. If this is to complicated for a novice they can just leave it be and charge through device.

A semi-bad ground on your 510 will reek havoc on your temp control. I've seen this with others. My Opus normally works perfectly but I've had a few instances where it was just like "ha-ha I'm not working..." Thought it was device or something. I've read alot of temp control issues because of 510ground/case ground. If this continues for me I will investigate even further. I hope this possibly helps

I do get that "perfect" isn't realistic most of time but good-damn good is. You know. Just do the best you can and don't shortcut things. " If you don't have time to do it right the first time. When will you have time to do it over again." Or something like that is how quote goes. Lol

Anyone else drive them self crazy sometimes being a Perfectionist? Example: Opus200 opened box and was hugely disappointed there isn't a micro USB cord and the pamphlet(paper) I mean @ least put the specs of chip on it. What temp, lowest ohms, etc. Just the basics. Let alone how RDA's don't sit perfectly flush and the beveled edge makes RDA overhang slightly at top. I mean it's a $250 device. This is just an idea never have tried it... What if u put mode in heat shrink tube and just cut a window out for screen? Don't know if it would be to tight on buttons or not. Just a DIY idea

"Help me Obi Wan Evolv. Your my only hope... " OK so temp mode has been awesome until a cpl days ago. Now I keep getting burnt/hot hit temp control not kicking in and throttling back wattage. I've tried different atty's with both NI and TI. I've turned on atomizer analyzer and wiggled the coils around it stays stable. When I turn on device monitor it don't show temp of last puff or anything. Firmware is updated. Tried Hard reboot. Any ideas????

Quick fix/kinda... My wireless adapter went out recently on laptop so. I just opened steam engine on my phone and went through and changed setting manually by just looking at them. Not a real fix just quick enough to get you going. Also I lowered my preheat temp to 150° for 0.5sec also this seems to give me less of a chance of a crap hit when chain vaping TI(overheating wire by mistake)

Oh... Thought you meant for just charging a lipo out of the mod. John probably could answer that best. But seeing as how they are all probably at ECC this weekend doubt he will be around until next week.

Can find a good RC balance charger from RC shops
