  1. ssv wire wire is great. i been using it for months. few extra dolllars, but they provide custom csv and have great customer service. it performs better than the other ti wire i tried . everyone has their own opinion so not everyone will agree but i love it and use it on everything . i got 50 ft for 30 bucks and i am still on the same roll since september when i got my first dna 200
  2. nothing wrong with hyperion. they work great. the good thing is that they have a higher nominal voltage. you wont be taxing the packs by charging full. its kinda like setting max recharges but still using max puffs . hope that makes sense
  3. if u are using the evolv connector in the box you do not need to run solder for ground. the board is grounded to the case with mounting screws and the 510 is grounded to case also when its threaded in. i have a reference box and that is how it was setup from evolv
  4. they used 10.22 because they claim thats what they got after running anylyser. i think that value is the best case scenario . i also found that the .007 mod resistance they have is a little high. when i tested my pack i got 9.8 wh and the mod resistance came out as .005 so im now using those values. i also found that i needed to raise the cutoff to 3.2 or 3,3 because the cells become unbalnced with the stock 3.09 cutoff. since i made these changes my pack has been alot closer in voltage when im promted with weak battery .
  5. I have 5 lipo based dna 200s that I love . The battery life isnt the greatest if u vape at higher wattages. On my vs200 with 900 mah lipo i get a full work day easily at 60 watts 500f with crown tank. On my psyclone evo with 1400 mah lipo I get a full and more at the same settings. I bought the wismec after hearing about people getting 2 plus days on a single charge. Problem is that running sony vtc4s and lghe4s I didnt get any longer out of the wismec than I did with the 1400 mah lipo box I have. maybe an hr or 2 longer at the most. on top of that the wismec had the screen ribbon cable under the fire button. the 510 connector was to shallow and only one tank and rda i have would sit flush on it, plus i had to wait forever to charge 18650s . I wasnt impressed with the wismec and it had to go. Im happy with the lipo versions of the dna 200. I have a lipo charger and my batteries can be fully charges in 25 to 45 mins depending on the mah. Its all subjective so if u are happy with the tug box i would keep it.
  6. Wismec did a horrible job of building the reuleaux . The ribbon cable for the screen is routed under the fire button. Every time u fire the mod the button flexes the cable. after flexing fora while cable will fail. common problem . I expect to see a lot more cases of this popping up in the future.
  7. Yes the ribbon shouldn't be user the fire button.it should slightly folded into kinda s shape and tucked under board. Search screen placemnet here and a few posts with pics will come up. Plenty of wismecs have failed and I'm sure plenty more will. Constantly flexing the ribbon cable will ruin it.
  8. Awesome thanks. I wanted to compare what I got on a black version . Should be pretty close to an anodized box I'm asuming. Mine results were almost identical.
  9. scoopy any chance u have the case thermals for the reference mod?
  10. yes that's what ive found by charging on stand alone charger. my hcigar battery only took 1000 first few times then it increased to 1050 for about 5 more chrges . latest test was 1100 but they maxed out there. the battery's were horrible and became super unbalanced so i got the thunderpower and its been good . a lot more consistent power all day on 1 pack . on the stock hcigar batts i was using 2 packs a day and the power drop off was noticeable at 50 percent.
  11. i know and that was the first charge on the battery . glacier lipos got really good ratings and reviews. i read a few different reviews on them and they were always good. i just put some thunderpower 1350s in my vt200 and they only came back 14.20 on the first charge . and they have more mah than the glacier. only 50 more but you would think it would be higher
  12. i just installed the thunder power 1350 in my vt200. had to remove the plate separating the chip and battery compartment . had to shorten the leads from the chip and change the plug on the battery. i removed the tabs on the battery side of the case also. i removed the lipo wrapper and rewrapped it with electrical tape. fits good and i got 14.23 for the first analyser test
  13. 1300 mah came back with 14.40 wh i get a whole day at 50 watts 480 t0 500 f in the uwell crown
  14. yeah buttons too. havent tried turdigy. glacier is away better battery in my opinion and available in usa for 15 bucks. i think size is 71x35x20
  15. dont get me wrong if the same size 3d print wasn't 80 plus dollars i would have got one. but since i found these boxes for 55 bucks 68 shipped with tracking i had to go this route . the guy is great to deal with . i bought the black box prebuilt for 170 minus battery. took about 1.5 weeks from philippines . i put a 45 c 1300 glacier lipo in it for 15 dollars. i ordered another box this week for 55 it comes with the case and all the screws to mount chip and hold both halves together. its identical to the evolve case i believe except that its bigger on the battery side to fit the bigger battery. and the notches for the grip. i wanted an evolv box and this was the next best thing. hoping to grab one like u got soon. i have the vt200 i use as a work beater . but the reference box is one of my favorite designs. i love the one you have. i liked them raw but that black is sick
  16. love those yosikidiri boxes . mines black and i got that same color in the mail. love the fact we can use 1300 mah lipos in them . still waiting for the evolv version
  17. Mine were made by yosikideri on face book . I love it. The cnc job is super smooth . Plus the grip on the battery half gives it some style. Waiting to grab an evolv 510 to put in it. I have a grey version in the mail now that I'm gonna build when it arrives. Have all parts just waiting on the case. I was thinking about the plastic prints but im not comfortable having a lipo in an abs case.I got these aluminum cases for 55 dollars . The ones on shapeways are too much money for plastic . Ive seen to many lipo fires in the 6yrs i been using them. they were all in the rc feild but it happens quite often in rc cars so i opted for the aluminum version
  18. I have one too. mine is not from evolve . i got it from a guy over seas. cant wai to get an evolve version though. this one has a 45c 1300 battery
  19. the new values look alot better . i had issues running case analyzer the first time because the temp in the room was dropping way below the temp when i started .
  20. I have a vt200. I have 2 batteries. I swap out when dead. Takes a min to change and half hr tops to charge on an rc lipo charger.
  21. i have vt200 and i bought extra batteries from hcigar . i can charge 1 battery in 20 mins on my rc lipo charger . there easy to swap out u just need to use caution with jst plug when changing battery
  22. Ive had great luck myself with both the .4 and .5 wire and tcrs. Haven't used nickel wire since
