  1. Im sure you can guess at what we are getting at with having 5-10 welcome screens with adjustable delays, lol. If compressing them using a not very esoteric format would make it possible, it would be really neat feature with lots of fun ways to expliot.
  2. I moved on from my beta, looks alot better now. Still on those 18650s.
  3. Batteries in parallel balance each other naturally. This means that if you have, for example, a 3S3P, you won't be able to directly monitor each parallel set. But with natural balance, all cells in the parallel set will always read the same. If you have a bad cell, the whole set will read low.
  4. Hello, I am Walter from Ft. Worth TX. I am the owner of Ursimian LLC. I don't make many mods, but I like to make sure they are all something "different". Other than my ZNA that lasted for two months (dammit!), I have always been a mech fan. Recently I have decided to delve into regulation, and I like it alot better these days. Currently I am running my alpha 3x18650 dna 200 mod (lol, i promise I didnt use that soldered pack) and have just finished up the beta group for it as well. This chip is really a step beyond, GJ guys.
  5. I always solder temperature sensitive items with as chunky of a tip as will fit in the space I am soldering, and my iron all the way up to 480. Hot and fast, so the solder points heat up fast instead of the rest of the item.
  6. I'll pass on lifepo cells then. I was considering using them, even with the lower mah/gram.
  7. This should give you guys fits, lol. (I dropped the pack for a sled, it was just to test)
  8. There aren't any 10v batteries that would be applicable. They are all multicell setup. The balance lead basically adds a tap at the +,-, and each cell bridge. This allows you to read individual cells as well as shunt power around to keep the cells in balance during charging.
  9. I kept it simple and used springs that will collapse on a short. It wouldnt protect the chip, but it doesn't protect against reversed batteries shorting against each other.
  10. With IMR, you build it out like you are making a lipo pack, i.e. making your own balance leads. It works great.
  11. 18650x3, with balance leads properly installed. 2500mah
