  1. Hey Turbo, you know I've seen your 600 3S implementation, and it's fantastic, but at 15+ml/day, and the difficulty level of 3Sbattery replacement, it obviously wouldn't work for me, but the 1400mh 2S sounds very interesting size wise at11mm, if the bat can be implemented in a replaceable fashion. What's the width and length of the remaining two batts?
  2. .03 is a pretty big difference using NI200, does it fluctuate? This usually occurs when the Out/Ground connections to the atty are not solid
  3. Blue, I've been using VMWare Fusion with Windows 10 on all my Macs, works like a charm
  4. Sorry Scoopy, I meant to type HG2,it's 3000 mah, no sled required. I hear what you're sayin, but the closest size BF mod I've seen anybody make is Turbo,it is larger then any of my DNA40 BF mods and he had to use 3 separate 600 mah lipos he converts to 3S, so he could customize the placement of each one in his box. Conjecture is fine, but if you can show me another BF design that isn't at least 1.5 times the size of my DNA40s, and has a replaceable battery config, I'd be in
  5. Im listening Scoopy, can you post a 3S with an 18650 comparable size that has 1.5 the mah capacity of an HE2 3000mah 20A 18650?
  6. True, but then you'll be swapping out batteries twice as much (charging just work, as I swap at least 6 batteries a day,
  7. Ya think? Of course you can't run 1 18650 at better then 50 /60 watts I'm just talking about the feature set, not the max watts, I even understand for cost sake the chip/board would have to be a bit bigger to handle the 2nd eprom, and that's fine to me
  8. I'm a squonker, and have numerous DNA40 BF mods. while I love the feature set of the DNA200, and have a couple for testing purposes, the footprint required for even the minimum power configuration is just too large for my liking. As Evolv did with the DNA25, I would love a pared down version of the chip able to run on a high drain 20A 18650 Is anyone else of this opinion?
  9. Yeah, I figured, as I have on all my Macs, as it's the most efficient VM fore the Mac, but I can't get win10 to run in VM Fusion Unity view mode on any of em
  10. Is Unity working with windows 10 for you?
  11. Blue, it`s pretty much the same with VM, the guest operating system can be run on any VM host Besides performance, the best thing about VMWare is the seamless guest operating system applications without the need to have the screen overhead of the full operating system`s GUI
  12. One other option, where you can run escribe in a seamless window on the mac and copy & paste between mac and windows apps It`s called VMWare Fusion, been using it for years
  13. Are you sure any of the cables you tried carry data?
  14. I don`t even care what you charge for it
  15. I second, third and fourth Turbo`s statement
  16. John, I`m less concerned about the chip/board size then the power requirements for the unit. It doesn`t have to be the same form factor as the DNA40 for me
  17. Brandon/John, though I love the capabilities of the new chip and applaud your achievements, I do hope you realize that many (if not most) of your users do not use or need wattage in excess of 40-50 watts. Squonkers in particular are quite happy with a single 18650 power supply as the addition of the in-line bottle and feed assembly already add size to a mod. The chip size itself is not the issue, the size requirements for 2S/3S options with an mah equivalent to a single 2500 mah 18650 is. I love my DNA40s, but as an alternate metals TC coil user, would love to have the firmware and TCR options contained in the DNA200 with the power requirements of the DNA40
  18. Still want a single 18650 option, it will suit most single coil MTLers as well
  19. My issue is carrying a device in a suit, I can carry extra batteries in my briefcase, but can't put a large device in my jacket pocket (GDNAs fit wonderfully)
  20. Well done Blue, the height on that is fantastic, the width is a bit much though for comfortable squonking, which I do exclusively
  21. Anybody got a cheap Wheel Barrow so's I can carry one of these mods Though I own a DNA200 for testing purposes, Im so hoping for a smaller footprint chip with the same characteristics as the DNA200 (less max wattage, single 18650) so a squonker like me can take part in all this excitement, you just can't build a reasonably sized squonker with this chip As the owner of almost a dozen DIY DNA 40 devices, the only thing Im missing with the chip is the extended capabilities of setting TCR and other customizations offered by the DNA200, UId be very happy with 40 watts and all this capability
