But all of them look the same, so is there a kit with all the pieces out there or something?

Eventually the case you see will be available, the designs have been made public and I know of a few people that are getting geared up to mill some for market, some of which may come as fully assembled mods.

You can get the enclosure on shapeways now:

    https://www.shapeways.com/product/6524725AS/evolv-dna200-case-with-buttons?li=search-results-1&optionId=57294605

However, you would need a builder, a chip, a battery and a 510 connector...all easy to find.

    Where are you located?

I will port it to Mac and maintain it.

I have developed and coded for Linux/Mac/Windows (and others that folks would not recognize).  Glad to help as a tester, but no longer coding.

I would suggest that the platform OS agnostic and migrate to a java app or a web interface, but for now just having access to it is amazing.

Yes, we are very much hoping that wire suppliers will publish compatible curves that match exactly the wire they are supplying.

This is a real sleeper that I don't think manufactures of mods or related items are getting just yet.  This will take the guess work out of selecting and using wire and should be a game changing concept.

It will have to get out of the geek world to be effective, with point and click web integration (buy this wire, click here to automatically add a profile for it...etc).

  4. The beta reference mod has the battery resting on the chip.  I assume (risky) that the heat produced is acceptable for such an arrangement.  I will be using a small amount of insulating foam just for safety, but I can't imagine a heat sink will be required as the chip would shut down prior.
