Forum for DNA One?

Hi, 

Since the DNA One was recently released, will there be an extra section for it in this forum? 

Also, I noticed in E-Scribe that there's a "Protect Pod" setting (high/low). What does that mean and how does it differ from the "Fill Pod" setting?

The "Protect Pod" and corresponding sensitivity is self explanatory. It means it is the adjustment for the conditions in which the device will deem the pod in danger and take necessary action to protect it. Realistically, you can think of it as sensitivity for the auto dry hit protection. High/low sensitivity. It is not the same as fill pod warning on The One.

"Fill Pod" will cut off based on dry hit detection, whereas  "Protect Pod" is effectively a temperature limit that it will not exceed (but it will keep firing).

Some thicker juices don't wick as well and "Fill Pod" can be made less sensitive to help with that.

If a pod is running cool for whatever reason, turning "Protect Pod" low can help with that. "Protect Pod" exists so that there is an upper limit to the temperature, even when people haven't set Replay.

Thanks for the more detailed explanation James. What is the temperature limit for the high "Protect Pod" setting?
