ardentBarbarian Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Hello, I just had my device attached to my computer and had the device monitor open in Escribe. I had a 1.2 ohm stainless steel pod inserted and the cold reading was .7 ohm. I also put in a .8 ohm SS pod and its cold reading was .5 ohm. I have some other normal (kanthal) xlim pods and all of them showed a correct cold ohms reading. I bought my pods on Amazon in Germany. Can anyone else confirm?
Wayneo Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Good SS pods. Can confirm. What did your mod display them as? Probably what you bought. More info here specific to what you ask. https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/76108-oxva-xlim-pro-2-dna-resistance-issues/#findComment-945933
ardentBarbarian Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago The display recognizes it as 1.2 ohm. So temperature wise an SS pod will land roughly in the same area as it's equivalent kanthal pod?
Wayneo Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Yes, except the SS operates at a much higher frequency than Kanthal for a cleaner taste and all the extra fancy features. 1
