Removing cartridges cancels set Replay button

I just bought the device amd normally i carry around 2 cartridges with 2 different flavors and i just found out that removing the cartridge cancels the replay i set when i pressed the replay button. Is there a work around for this?

Your mod is working as intended. There is no workaround. Even if you were to remove, fill and replace the same pod, you'll need to reactivate replay.

I didn't mean my mod isn't working as intented, i am just saying is there a work around to keep my replay saved if i removed the pod.

Am a beginner with escribe but can i save the puff i replayed and make it my default through escribe?

Then what's the point of having a DNA chip? 

I mean if i can't set a replay or a curve then whas is the point of the DNA chip? Is it just the Anti burn feature?
