sadibe Posted Sunday at 07:37 AM Report Posted Sunday at 07:37 AM Hello everyone. Liebe I have a Jaio Mod Dna60c. Last night, I know, I had to change the 18650 (3%) because fine lines are appearing on the screen. I didn't think anything of it and changed the 18650. It is fully charged and I still have the problem with the lines or almost black screen. You can see the screen glowing very dimly. I connected it to the esrobe. Device Manager says the battery is full, but when I press the fire button the wattage display stays at 0. I opened the mod and checked the fire button. This works with the resistance meter. Question: is the chip defective? How could this happen? The mod did not get wet. Thank you for the help.
Wayneo Posted Sunday at 02:55 PM Report Posted Sunday at 02:55 PM From your description you potentially have 2 different problems. Lines on your dimming screen and fire button no longer working. The screens are very delicate and are easy to damage if mishandled by you or the builder. The fire button is an external button (not the one on the board itself). It could be just a soldered wire that has come undone or the button itself, or lastly the board itself. You could dismantle the mod and push the on board button to see if it works, but I would not suggest that due to the delicate screens (but yours already appears on the way out) Due to the above it's hard to come to the conclusion that the board is defective. You should reach out to the place of purchase if you still have a warranty, or Jai's builder for service. Keep us informed on what you decide to do, and what they say.
