yoshi.poshi Posted May 19 Report Posted May 19 For context am trying to replace the board on a lost vape Centaurus quest squonk mod with a DNA chip instead of their board. The fire button is my main fitment issue for the moment. I carved out a couple bits of the sled to accommodate some of the board components. But the faceplate will in no way accommodate the fire button. Can I remove the fire button from the board without damaging some other function if I was to clip it off or cut it off? I don’t want to mess with removing the solder if I can help it - I’m an amateur at best and I understand that can be challenging. And second question - wiring an off board fire button is the same as on the dna75c? Yes? Same two pins on the right side of the board? My real headache is going to be the big honking metal cube on the back of the board… think I’m going to have to fashion a spacer behind the faceplate to accommodate that. But if I can figure out this fire button issue I’ll be a step closer. Thanks!

It might be a surface mount button, you'd need to check, but you can disassemble the button down to the black base. If you're talking about the 100C, here's the pinouts.
