DNA 40 screen disconnected from the ribbon cable. Is it fixable?

My screen has disconnected from the ribbon cable and I'm wondering if it's possible to fix it. It doesn't look like the cable slides in to a slot on the screen. Is it attached with glue on one of the sides?

 

If it's not possible to fix at this end is it possible to replace it and re attach to the board?

At some revision the DNA40 screen connection was upgraded to a ZIF connector. You ought to open a Help Desk ticket (link in my signature line).

Done. That does sound more secure. Would be nice if I could fix this one though so I don't have to go through the trouble of taking the board out.
