DNA 60C Charge Board going over 4.2v

I have a single 18650 DNA 60C with a USB C charge board. I left my mod plugged in for a few hours and forgot about it, when I came back my battery was sitting at 4.35v. Is this expected behavior? Is there a way I could set the max battery voltage for charging to shut off at a lower voltage? TIA.

Do you know if that is an Evolv charger board?
After removing the cable from the board, what was the battery voltage?

It is an official evolv charger board and the voltage dropped to 4.3. Nervously, I dry fired till the voltage was under 4.2 and went on
