The device is in use

I was changing the theme on my device.

and it was at 97% then disconnected maybe a bad cable.

the device is working fine.

but every time I connect it to escribe it refuses and says that "this device is in use."

Unplug your mod. Restart your PC and try again.

Didn't work, but I figured that the problem is within escribe itself. 

when i tried to update it to see if this will fix it, it said the escribe.exe file is corrupted.

so, after uninstalling it and fresh install all worked fine.
