thelateoctober
I just built a mod with a Maxamps 2800mAh 4s 100c battery. I'm at 2% battery right now. Hooked it up to device monitor and taking a drag - 111 watts, dual mesh coils at .12, 6-7 second drags - cell voltage is only dropping to ~3.5, well above cutoff. I'm not a battery expert - but I feel like I can be getting more out of this battery. Should I just be happy where it's at, or is there a way for me to modify the curve to give me that extra life? Thanks in advance.
Wayneo
Can you post a full Device Monitor printscreen for starters. Also, at the end of the day, you ought to run the 'battery analyzer' to get a valid curve for it
thelateoctober
Give me a minute for the device monitor, eScribe doesn't want to recognize it now.

Wayneo
Thanks for that. Changing the 'curve' in any way does NOT affect your working mod, at all. The curve will not give you extra battery life. It will only give you an accurate icon. Like I mentioned earlier, run the 'battery analyzer' once your battery is fully charged and all 4 cells are balanced. Lipo's usually have a long relatively flattish slope, then fall of a cliff. You can vape it right down to 'weak battery', knowing the 'check battery' is not far behind.
thelateoctober
Yep, all I really want is an accurate icon - because it's cutting off at 0% when there is a not insignificant amount of usable charge left. Thanks! Edited February 2, 2023 by thelateoctober

You should also get a 'check battery' message at that time
