How to reset the puff counter.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to Escribe and struggling to modify the default theme to include a puff counter. Ive set up the fields (I hope) but cannot figure out how to include a reset function. This is the screen I've set up and I want the rest field to act as a reset button. As an aside, is there any way of test running a theme before uploading it?

Any help is deeply appreciated.

Statistics -> reset count
Statistics -> since reset -> puff count

IM also having  some trouble  with this.
