DNA 40 Trouble

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me. I’ve just made a mod with a DNA 40 board but it doesn’t seem to be giving me enough power to run the Nunchaku tank (tried 0.4 and 0.25 coils) I have on it. I would usually run the tank on 36W on the Nunchaku mod but even at 40W on the DNA board it’s not behaving the same. I have removed the temp control which I thought would fix the issue but now I’m scratching my head!

Any help is greatly appreciated...

It should be fine at those resistances, I would check you are not getting too much voltage drop on the battery or ground connections - IE good solid and tight connections, hard to be more specific online.

Many thanks for the response. I have some beefier wire that I will use for the battery tube plus I now also have some 70% lead solder, the lead free stuff was a pain...
