marco123
Hi. Quick couple of questions. Just added charge percentage and turned charge brightness up in escribe so that I can see charge percentage as the charge LED isn't really visible on my mod. Charge seems to go up to 98% and not really any higher, but the charge finishes, so I guess it's just a display thing rather than a problem. I left it at 98% last night and it was even lower this morning 94%, but could see it was green light. I did notice though, that the screen stays on even when the charge is complete and the lightning symbol goes. Is this normal, or should it go to sleep once charged? If it should could this be because of the 98% thing? Could the screen be depleting the battery when the charge is finished and stopped drawing charge? Thanks
retird
The display, when lighted will draw current. It sounds like when your device completed charging @ 98% ( RELATIVE READING) you got a green light and charging stopped. It sounds like you left the device connected to your charging method and the screen stayed on. This will draw current which could account for the reduction in charge from 98% to 94%. Unplug the device and plug it back in and it should charge up again... When charged disconnect and you should not see such a reduction when not using the device... That is my thoughts from what I understand you are saying....
marco123
Thanks. I think that is correct. What I wasn't sure about is whether the screen is designed to always be on when connected to USB or whether it can be set to go to sleep when the battery is fully charged. Sometimes I have to charge over night, so if that's not possible I'll set the charge screen brightness back to zero to keep the battery full. retird
The Screen Brightness and Fading settings are the only settings I am aware of.... I set my brightness while charging to zero as you said.... as a side note about battery safety.... it is never good to charge batteries unattended..... batteries that fail while charging can make bad thing happened....
