FrankDrebin
Hi guys, got my LostVape 75C and measured an internal resistance of 0.038 Ohm. Anybody knows if that is still in the "normal" range ?
FrankDrebin
the ohm readings are all over the place. When i vape 2-3 puffs the ohm comes close to the real value and then starts to climb again over 0.05 Ohm - 0,1 Ohm. Using Kanthal A1. WTF is going on ? Seems pretty high, but each mod can be different. 50 minutes ago, FrankDrebin said: When i vape 2-3 puffs the ohm comes close to the real value and then starts to climb againg over 0.5 Ohm. FrankDrebin
measured with a bottom of a deck with a copper rod inside. My coil meter showed 0,00 Ohm. Connection is tight and my other mods say rock solid 0,29 Ohm even after 5 puffs. However the 75C is measuring 0,33 - 0,4 Ohm and it is fluctuating so yeah.... FrankDrebin
Ok fking thread lock is confirmed the problem. Did it like TheSwain said without even to unsolder and now the ohms are correct and dont fluctuate anymore. I set the mod res to 0.014 like djlsb said and i think every coil i have is reading correct now. Puh i thought i have to send it back..... Thanks Swain i guess

Thanks Swain i guess I set mine to 0.0014 and not 0.014 even though it always kicks it down to 0.0013.It works and I haven't had a problem since. FrankDrebin
My device works flawless now. I measured the mod resistance 5 times today and it is a rock solid 0.015 Ohm for me. Smokin Dave i think the 0.0014 is not correct you should test it or set it to 0.014 because that was very close to my real value.
