67exec Posted September 1, 2017 Report Posted September 1, 2017 Is there a way to make a single screen in a 75c theme stay at or above full brightness regardless of where you set the brightness on the mod? Also, can you make that particular screen have its own time-out setting? Thanks in advance
etab75 Posted September 1, 2017 Report Posted September 1, 2017 Not sure if this is useful but, Miscellaneous>Debug>Keep Screen On will override any other theme brightness settings. That will apply to all screens though not just a single. No specific screen time-outs I'm afraid.
67exec Posted September 1, 2017 Author Report Posted September 1, 2017 I'm trying to make a makeshift flashlight screen. It would work like back before cellphones had a flash that could be used as a light. I'm working on a utilitarian theme that is currently based on the stock evolve theme
etab75 Posted September 1, 2017 Report Posted September 1, 2017 Interesting idea... I'm gonna have a play around see what transpires...
etab75 Posted September 1, 2017 Report Posted September 1, 2017 There are some limitations to using the Debug>Keep Screen On command but hey ho... had a bash with the default theme (just the basics mind: lock/main/new atty/flashlight). Select Flashlight and turn on light via select. Up/down returns to parent screen ie main. I must say its not that bright, but then again its really sunny in here lol flashlight_demo.ecigtheme
67exec Posted September 1, 2017 Author Report Posted September 1, 2017 That's where I'm at with it, just hoping that we could force the brightness higher. I have my screen set to fire from that screen, so a quick tap would turn it back on. Its the kind of light you'd use to find the key slot in a door in the dark, or or something trivial like that. My 75c has a pocket clip, so it goes everywhere with me, but my phone occasionally gets left behind
etab75 Posted September 1, 2017 Report Posted September 1, 2017 Yep I'm wondering here if the actual LED indicator (set to white) is actually brighter than the screen? Well its always interesting to try things out I'm all for it. I have a toggle switch for the debug screen on.
