everpresentnoob
So I just finished my new DNA250 box, and it worked great. For about 5 mins. Now it will only work while plugged into a USB cord. Battery is not working at all. I have tried different batteries such as my MaxAmps that is in my currently running mod and those dont work either so I know its not the battery. Not sure what I should check. Just got the board today in the mail, and now its not working. I confirmed that the Battery wasnt hooked up reversed. I just am not sure what else I should check. VapingBad
Check the fuse, it's behind the USB socket, other side of the board.
everpresentnoob
I checked the fuse. after reading through here I saw a number of posts about that. My fuse is totally white, most I have seen are semi translucent... Heck I even went so far as to solder a small jumper wire across the fuse. still nothing. everpresentnoob
GOt a reply from the ticket I submitted. checked a couple things for them and yea, something is wrong on my board. Sending it in for RMA. Easiest customer service I have ever dealt with.
Akira Samidare
got a blown power ctrl ic? that tiny black square with 4pins on each side. i once had this symtom and fixed it with a same ic. the reason y i know where the problem is was because i was testing it without casing at the very moment so that ic just failed with a terrible red flame flash. it was just literally burnt
everpresentnoob
Got my board back from Evolv. got it put in a stabwood box I made on my drill press with End Mill bits. Im happy with it. should have done a few things differently during the carving, but now I know for the next one.
