laurie9300
LiPo noob here.........There seems to be no standard wire colours for the balance wires?I'm using a GensAce 1300 battery, of course the balance connector came pre-wired. This looks correct acording to the DNA datasheet, the pin numers/wire colours just look wrong. Please confirm for me this will be correct when I wire it up? KTMRider
I would double check with a multimeter but it looks like red is ground and the 3 black is balance so you'd have to flip the connector.

KTMRider
The ground should be black as far as the connector is concerned and it looks like that's how the battery is wired. Not sure why they used only one red wire though.
John
Red and black wires are cheaper than colors, maybe? I've seen this before, and the picture is correct. In every pack I have ever seen with one red and the rest black, red would go to the tap labelled "3"

KTMRider
I would ASSume that they would use black wire for ground and red wire for 1, 2, 3 (power).
Guest
I think it make sense, one red the rest black, it tells you where the first battery is in a series
