db47201
about a week and a half ago had a fuse pop in the middle of taking a puff. Last night had basically the same thing happen again. when plugged into the computer and no atty attached it reads fine in escribe. once an atty (kanthal Nichrome clapton) makes contact, my computer beeps as if it lost connection to the device and the board screen goes black. as soon as I unscrew it enough to lose connection the computer beeps again as its regained connection to the device, and the screen powers back up. Spector NS5 RD
how many watts were you running when you popped the fuse on your first board? Type of wire? temp, preheat? im seeing a lot boards blow a fuse or worse. some where the fuse doesnt blow fast enough and fry the atmel mcu, mosfets, inductors etc. sounds like your fuse again this time. when connected to escribe whats your voltage, pack. take sum close up pics of the board both sides.
