Anyone ever look into custom cnc box for a diy mod?

I was wondering if anyone used some type of cad to design their own box to be cnc out of aluminum. How were the prices? What were your general impressions of the ordeal? If anyone here has any insight that would be awesome Thanks for your time Adam

$60 per enclosure in volume.  Lower with higher volume.

Make sure you know your Machinist well. Delays are common. Mine quoted 6 weeks and it will wind up about 5 months.

If delivery timing is important, consider insisting upon a penalty (discount) for late delivery. I wish I had........

Hey...go check on our enclosures!  Sage advice...agree on delivery date and how to resolve missed deadlines and accuracy creep issues in writing.
