lewisss
Hi, I have the dna75 chip and want to make a mod with 2 parallel batteries to get a better usage time. But with this brings up two issues. 1. Putting batteries in parallel keeps the voltage the same but doubles the current. So with this in mind do I need to increase the wire gauge for the battery connections? 2. Will it be safe to charge the dna75 batteries via USB considering they will not be balanced. Thanks in advance.
Spector NS5 RD
No you will not need to increase the wire gauge when running a parallel setup. Just go by evolv's recommended wiring size. It will be perfectly safe to charge via USB. Will take twice the amount of time but safe. Balancing is not needed when using a parallel setup. The batteries will balance themselves do to them being in a parallel configuration.

After that process they will behave as one battery and no further checking is necessary and the batteries will balance themselves.
