Skiddum
Hello and thank you for letting me join. I've been vaping for a long time roughly 5 years give or take. I got into mech mods single batteries and rda's I've got a dozen or so rda and a few old tank rba. It took my budy who owns his own shop to get me into the box mods. If anyone is here in Utah his name Is Rolf. He owns Rolf's vapor joint. Up in provo amd just opened a new shop in provo by the mall. Good guy he makes his own juice and has some killer deals. Anyways I'm getting a Cloudmaker whiteout DNA 200 I've wanted to get the dna 200 for awhile now and I've always wanted to build my own and do all that but I don't have the time to really build my own and everything else. Especially when I own a Belgian Malinois pup, her training, jiu-jitsu, and working graves I don't have all that kinda time to sit and tweek and tinker and tweek and tinker ect. So I figured the cloud maker white out DNA 200 would kinda give me the best of both worlds. I can tinker an play with the temperature settings getting them just right. And it give me the ability to actually work on the mod itself. I've dropped and busted so many mods it's not funny. From the screen going out to other stupid crap. I want one if I break it I can fix it myself. So anyways can't wait to jump in and see how this thing works
black lace
They certainly are an enthusiasts board, so much you can do... if you whant.... allso very good for a straight power regulated device, you may find all your other mods will gather dust lol.. .. scooby
I have a Whiteout (for my sins!) and there is plenty to tinker with.I replaced all the wiring, I don't have a pic as it was, but the output lead to the 510 wandered all round the case, had a bullet connector and was a whopping 30cms long. Not surprising that the mod resistance was halved.I swapped out the Varitube for an Evolv and made a top plate from black perspex. Also removed the X frame and battery holder making room to change the 1100mAh for a 1300mAh and there is still room in there, the Whiteout is big!! Skiddum
Awesome.that's what I'm hoping for a mod that will replace all the others hands down. Your mod looks awesome I was wondering if there was a way to change out the 1100 battery for a 1300 or bigger. I found an 1800 on one site but I'd have to get a price. That's a big beast. So I'm hoping I'll be able to get plenty of advice on the board and working it. And also replacing the screen and board itself. I can't tell you how many mods I've wipes out the screen just from getting out of my car. Vaping and driving is hazardous to the mod for sure at least in my case. BlackMonday101
I just picked up two of these cmt boxes on eBay @140 each. One is for my juice guy. However I would totally support this idea and I'm inclined to do the same and input any findings.
BlackMonday101
Skiddum! Good news! I have found some batteries that should fit given the developers dimensions that would allow to upgrade before modifying. They mention the zippy compact 11.1v 1300MAH 3s 25c lipo would fit without compromising the stock mounting plate and the dimensions are as follows Zippy compact 11.1v 1300MAH 3s 25c 73 x 35 x 24mm Hyperion G5 11.1v 1300MAH 3s 50c 67.7 x 35.3 x 23.1mm Then there is one I found on eBay Floureon 11.1v 1500MAH 3s 35c 70 x 36 x 22mm I hope this has proven useful to the whiteout development. I feel like CMT had the right idea but between the wait times and angry customers they had a bad start. Maybe if we can band together and start modding these ourselves we can turn it into the same great platform that we have around Hammond development and those early DNA chips. Thanks guys!
