Dhykes Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 Hey guys, I just received my replacement Hana in the mail today (first one had a pinched screen cable) and I am having this same "EEPROM read failed." error message come up when I try connecting to Escribe to make changes to the settings and such and I was wondering what I had to do to fix it. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. (not sure if this has anything to do with it) Thanks in advance, Devyn.
UKDTweak Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 I have only had that error once on my DNA200, it was the USB cable, it was twisted and as such was putting horizontal force on the socket, once i un-twisted the cable to remove the twisting force, i re connected and its worked fine since, so make sure there is no tension in your USB cable or try a new USB cable.
Dhykes Posted October 9, 2015 Author Report Posted October 9, 2015 I ended up getting it to work. Thanks.
