Battery curves

Hello,

Why do we need to input battery curve settings through escribe? other board manafacturers like Yihi for example doesnt require that and regardless of whatever battery/ batteries used it reads them accurately?

What is the point?

You don't HAVE to...it just makes the indicator a little bit more accurate...has no effect on battery life...
