HCIGAR VT75 DNA 75 Firing Issues

Hi All, Recently My VT75 has been a little buggy. It started out with random "shorted" errors, then "weak battery", now it only powers on IF it's plugged in. If I hit the "fire" button, the whole thing powers off and reboots. It won't charge a battery at all. So far I've dismantled and cleaned all connectors, verified solders are still good, updated firmware, and did a factory reset with the hcigar.ecig file. Still no luck. Any ideas? Ricky

When you were checking the solder joints, did you happen to make sure all the board ground screws were tight?

Yes. I did ensure all screws in/on the device were secure. I'm so confused by it! Haha Ricky

So, I discovered if I leave the battery cap off, plug the charger in, and then put the battery cap on it registers the battery and has been charging it. It will operate without the charger now. I don't have the tank deck currently, so I won't be able to know if the tank will work until Monday. But it seems to be working... ish. Ricky

You might want to clean the battery cap with iso alcohol & the threads on the cap as well as the threads on the device...

The box is the VT75, but I'm running to VTinbox.
