dna250c dna250c screen replacement for paranormal FLEX TOO LONG

So I just received an screen replacement for my paranormal 250c after the original one broke for no apparent reason (I literally woke up and it was like that). The problem is that the flex on the replacement screen is too long and it won't fit, what can I do?
