  1. I read in another thread to lock the resistance so that’s what I did last night and so far so good.
  2. Sounds good to me. Probably best off hitting the trash heap. I think I paid $50 for it a year or so ago so I’m not out too much on it.
  3. I have an older DNA250 dual 18650. One day it just crapped out on me. When I hit the fire button it says DNA 250 and then shuts back off. When I plug it into Escribe, one battery shows 5.1v and the other shows 0.0v. One the mod, it just says check atomizer and everything is at 0 except for wattage which is set to 55w. Fried board? I dont want to spend too much time with it. I bought it used and it worked fine for a few months and then one day its just dead. I have a few other devices so it just sits in a cabinet..broken. I decided to take it apart today and everything looks good visually. No broken solder joints or burn marks on the board... Any ideas????? Thanks in advance.
  4. I’m having a similar issue with a Hcigar DNA166 dual 18650 mod. I should put it on Escribe and see what the device monitor says. When I put 2 fully charged batteries in it, it will power up but then shuts off immediately. All soldered connections look fine.
  5. 6. I just got a Boxer DNA75C Squonk that takes (1) 20700/21700 battery. I purchased 2 Keeppower 20700 batts from Illumn. They get good ratings from Mooch so I went with them. When I charge them on my Xtar VP2, they charge to 4.20 and the mod reads them at 98%. That’s fine. It’s when use the mod, the battery levels are all over the place. They go from 98 to 84 then up to 86. When they get below 60%, that’s when the battery meter gets really wonky. It will drop to 34% and then 13%, then up to 30%. It’s quite frustrating. All firmware is up to date. I vape at 50 watts on a .3 single coil setup. I purposely paid a premium to get a DNA chip and I feel like it is very problematic. Also, the clock always goes back to 12:00 when I change the battery but my wattage settings stay where they were before the battery swap. Hopefully this is a firmware issue that will be addressed. Working outside all day without being able to charge, is making this mod a bit useless.
  7. Thank you very much! I suck at Macs so the option tab eluded me.
  8. I don’t even see the options tab. I’m running the latest version of Escribe 2.0 with a DNA75C. Am I doing something wrong?
