  1. I had a HCigar Vt75C which housed a DNA75C. The mod used a single 26650 but could also use a single 18650 or 20700 (with an optional battery door). The mod had issues but not the board so I removed it. I'm buying a AlpineTech CNC enclosure, mount, etc... to house the DNA75C board but my issue is I want to use dual 20700's in parallel so will this cause an issue with the board since the mod that originally housed it was setup for single cells? Battery life is horrible with a single cell so would prefer the dual batteries. Thanks for any insight in this matter.
  2. Thanks retird I didn't see it worded in the board profile for the 75C like it was in the 250 profile good to know I was concerned because I was charging the mod today like that and it wasn't a cheap one to burn up. 👍
  3. Update to my own question just in case someone reads this post. After having the time to go to the Evolv site to do a little research I've found out that apparently the DNA75C does not have the same charging circuit as the DNA250 has after all so seems it was not designed to charge via USB port safely like most other mods it is solely for firmware updates only.
  4. I personally would like a dual or tri-cell 18650 format design over a lipo. I have no experience with lipo batteries nor do I think the general public does not saying I wouldn't be able to learn but think I'm keep it more mainstream to cover all users.
  5. I own a Think Vape Finder 250W (3*18650) Device has of course the DNA250 chip and it provides 2A charging via USB port. My question is I also own a HCigar Vt75C with the DNA75C chip that takes a single 26650 and is power hungry like no tomorrow. Can the DNA75C also be safely charged via the USB port like the DNA250? A USB cable would be better to carry around than a supply of 26650's.
  6. When will the New Think Vape Finder DNA250C be released Think Vape? Love my Think Vape Finder DNA250 (Black with Ostrich Skin) want a new DNA250C version.
  7. I couldn't see how it could be a cell issue myself only that this never happened until I used a 18650 with it which normally I haven't because it drains them faster than a 26650. Only used it because had two 26650's charging and the third in my Aegis. I'm going have to download the software to a friends computer to see what's going on with it I imagine but will take your advice like I was thinking and tear down, clean and rebuild the Omni and like you said make sure no juice seeped into the 510? Going be busy thanks m8.
  8. I have had my HCigar Vt75C for maybe three months. (Firmware is as it came, tried to download the software but my PC and Cell Phones are encrypted due to my employment with the government/military so even though I downloaded the software it will not work with the mod). Anyway it's been setting for three days. Took it off the shelf tonight and 1 second after I hit the fire button Temp Protection registers and the mod will not fire. It's the same RDA that has always been on it. Coils are the same I was using before it was put on the shelf, cotton is wet, every single thing is the same that it's always worked with. There is no possible way it's reaching max temp hitting the button for one single second. Could the battery cause this issue at all? I usually use an iJoy 26650 but they are charging so threw in a Samsung 25R the only single thing that is different. Thoughts please, only things I can think of is rebuild the RDA and try it again using the 26650?
  9. It was just another learning experience, the way the DNA vapes is different than alot of other chips I think and after learning that it all worked out it was just user inexperience lol.
  10. 67exec... Thank you for all of your help have the basic controls down now. The owners manual for the Think Vape Finder DNA250 leaves a lot to be desired but know now how to set the basic parameters for use. I am still not able to transfer the eScribe software yet, need to get an MicroSD card to transfer the file from my other phone to my PC. This phone and MicroSD card is encrypted a professional necessity so can't use either but getting closer to my goals at least.
  11. Thank you your a good and helpful person. Appreciate your assistance the DNA75C seems to have a easier menu system haven't had any problems with that one with anything. Have a great day/evening again thank you.
  12. At the moment I don't have access to eScribe. With that list of items for a screen shot I'm going to need to study up on the Evolv DNA chip to even know what all of that is your even talking about. The Think Vape Finder manual has no info concerning anything like that. I will go the the Evolv site to learn more about the board clearly this is mandatory in my understanding of what I'm dealing with. Thank you for your time and assistance.
  13. Are you taking in consideration that the lowest resistance set for the device is 0.20ohms? At 0.13ohms mine doesn't seem to function properly either. I'm having issues and question if my low ohms are at fault. My DNA75Color won't work below 0.25ohms???
  14. I just received my Think Vape Finder DNA250 but the instruction manual is horrible for the device. I have it on Profile3 for S.S.316L but only the ohms are registered until I hit the fire button then the volts and amps are displayed but only then. No matter where I set the temp 1 second after I hit the fire button the screen read OFF instead of displaying the temp but continues to fire. Kind of glad I'm using S.S.316L because if it was Ni200 or Ti I'd be worried TC is turning off and not functioning. Any info would be appreciated. I have no issues with my DNA75 Color functions beautifully.
  15. Sorry also forgot to mention going for the iJoy 26650's for the DNA75 was told I'd be happier with those for that mod again thanks.
  16. Yes I've been carrying 4 spares and isn't really an issue since I've been a mech user in the past. Ordering a DNA250 mod in a few days and was told battery life should last much better. Single cell mods I tend to go through 2-3 cells a day anyway on those Asain boards and these are much better. I prefer VTC3's for the 30A but going to order some VTC5A's for the DNA250. Thanks m8 for you input have a slendid holiday.
  17. I notice I'm going through a charged battery in a couple of hours. Just had my new mod HCigar Vt75 Color for two days and have replaced the battery eight times already Samsung 25R's and Sony VTC3's batteries. I realize a single cell mod usually requires more frequent replacement and assume that colored screen eats volts but would it be better using the 26650's instead of the 18650's love this board and chip so not complaining. The DNA250 will be ordered in July and can't wait after using the DNA75. Thanks
